         Recollect fathers founded San Sebastian College Recoletos de Cavite in the year 1966. Despite competitions and disagreements, the school still gained the upper hand in the educational industry. They started with a humble beginning until they forced to be more aggressive and continued their mission to provide Cavitenos with quality Christian education. SSC-RdC put a five institutionally colleges, College of Accountancy, Business Administration and HRM; the College of Criminology; the College of Engineering, Computer Science and Technology; the College of Liberal Arts; and the College of Nursing. Through these, they became more motivated to increase their effort to update new curriculum, added new courses to be able to meet the needs and demands of the students. SSC-RdC started with a single building, part of it is a Father’s residence, with 281 students of High School and College Departments. Many years have passed the students population increased most especially in College Departments. For 27 years, from 1977 to 2004, SSC-RdC has gone through a big development. They built more classrooms, auditorium, chapel, small gymnasium, and from a single building to a four-storey right-wing extension. They also built Audio Visual Rooms, speech laboratory, library, conference rooms, etc. SSC-RdC has grown over the years and still continuously growing.
